Anita’s Vintage Fashion Fair in Notting Hill

Looking for some special treasures my friend Franzi and I decided to visit London’s Portobello Market today. And our visit turned out to be full of vintage surprises.

Walking through the colorful streets of Notting Hill, a nice young lady gave us a flyer and showed us the way to Anita’s vintage fashion fair. The special market takes place a couple of times a year and luckily we were right on the spot for the last event in Notting Hill this year.

Anita’s Vintage Fashion Fair features selected vintage dealers offering fashion from the 1900’s to the 1980’s. Vintage lovers find the most incredible pieces on sale from high quality to more basic and affordable vintage dresses. And clothes aren’t the only thing to marvel at: There was also a great selection of bags, hats and jewellery. Guests even had the chance to get the perfect vintage look at a hair and make-up stall.

Located in Notting Hill’s 20th Century Theatre the vintage fair did not only offer individual items but also spread an antique atmosphere all around. The fair was very relaxed and absolutely not overrun so that we could enjoy each of the beautifully decorated stalls.

Don’t worry if you missed the fair today. There is still a chance for you to find some beautiful vintage pieces at AVFF in Lavender Hill on the 20th of November.

Our Sunday stroll through London’s Portobello Market turned out to become a special fashion experience. With two unique clutches in our shopping bag Anita’s fair was the perfect ending to a day full of vintage perusing!
