Welcome to “LondonLiaison”, my blog about culture, lifestyle, art and London’s hidden hot spots.

About me

My name is Ines and I am the face behind the articles on this page. Currently I am studying International Broadcast Journalism in London.

In July 2011 I graduated from the University of Mannheim with a degree in German and English. Alongside my studies I gained work experience as a writer for a local newspaper and as an author for edelight, where I had my own rubric about children’s and maternity fashion.

Besides various jobs and internships in the field of media, I also worked for the green fashion label RiotCreations, where my responsibilities in the press department included the coordination and conception of PR campaigns, blogger relationship management and editorial work.

My real passion in journalism is broadcasting. Besides my voluntary editorial work at radioaktiv, I also interned for ProSieben television in Germany. My love for TV and radio is the main reason why I decided to spend an exciting year in London, but I also wanted to enjoy, explore and live student life to the fullest in this amazing cultural melting pot.

I am curious, open minded, a vegetarian and crazy about my two dogs – and I love London! On this blog I would like you to be part of my journey. I will show you where to buy the best cupcakes, where to find the fanciest vintage clothes and all the other secrets which you maybe would never explore as long as you don’t live here.
